Size: 700 tons of asphalt.
The Problem:
The original trails for this HOA had reached the end of their life cycle. The asphalt had deteriorated due to weather, age, and tree roots which was a big concern for the community as it is a tripping hazard. Access was also a concern as the trails were inaccessible to standard size trucks and paving equipment.
The Solution:
Busy shopping center with a grocery store as the anchor brought in lots of foot traffic. Due to the project being awarded in late Fall, night time paving was not an option due to temperature constraints.
